As you know, we are going to have the wax museum coming up. Here I would like to tell you which characters I would like to research information of. One of them is San Martin because he gave liberty to Argentina, helped O’Higgins in Chile to get freedom, and also freed Peru. I am sure it would be very exciting to research about someone like him. Another person I would like to research of is Domingo Faustino Sarmiento. He is the exciting person who makes us celebrate teacher’s day! In spanish class we saw some overall information and it was really cool. He was soldier, teacher, and he even became our president once!

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog! In this message i would like to tell you the book I am actually reading and tell you a little bit about this book. I am currently reading Bearwalker by Joseph Bruchac and this book is about a legend about a man that sacrified people because of its thirst of power and in the end became a mutant bear who was not affected by guns or arrows. The man that turned to bear had still a hunger for power, and because of this he started killing people that entered the forest and piling up their bones in a cave. His thirst of power gave him a special ability in which he could turn human, exept for his teeth. Once, some Indians went in the forest without knowing that the legend was true, and in the instant they came in, the bearwalker ambushed them and killed almost one fourth of the people. The Indians went running out of the forest and refugied at the edge of a river. When they needed food two people would go for food but only one would return. Then a little indian kid, who heard all the stories from their tribes heard that the bearwalker could be only killed if you won a race against him. The little kid won the race, and even though the bearwalker was still alive, it was resting in the floor. The bearwalker then said, “You cant kill me because if you trow and arrow at me my thick fur will reflect it and i will then kill you!” The little kid then took out his bow and arrow and said, ”I know your weak point”, and then the kid shoot the arrow to a white spot in the bear’s heart. Many years passed and now, some kids were going on a school field trip to that forest in which many adventures await them, especially for the Baron kid, a bear lover.
